Now onto my next great news. I have been working on my Sedona Star quilt for the past eighteen months and I finally finished it in time to exhibit it at The Festival of Quilts organised by The Quilters’ Guild of South Australia. It won a second place in the Traditional Amateur category. Wow! I was so excited! Sedona Star is a quilt designed by Sarah Vedeler for The Quilt Show BOM programme in 2012. It was a pleasure to make as the instructions were very well written and easy to follow. The entire quilt is foundation pieced. I needle turned the appliqued sections which took a long time to do.
