The Owl and Hare Hollow quilt is inspired by Natalie’s love for the countryside with its winding country lanes, tea and scones in the garden, watching the flowers sway in the breeze, the bees dancing above and a house on a hill watching over it all.
Sharing the same name as Natalie’s new fabric range, Owl & Hare Hollow features exclusive stitcheries, labels and a special border print.
Owl & Hare Hollow kits are arriving in store mid January. Natalie Bird has used a variety of English Paper Piecing (EPP) shapes to create her designs in Owl & Hare Hollow. Purchase your EPP pack from The Quilting Room in time for the BOM launch in Homespun Magazine.
Homespun Magazine will be publishing the Block of the Month pattern and instructions over 12 months (6 issues of Homespun Magazine) starting from the February 2023 issue.
You will need a subscription or to purchase all 6 copies of the Homespun magazine to access the pattern and instructions.

The quilt is made with a fun mix of techniques, Applique, English Paper Piecing, Stitchery and Patchwork
English Paper Piecing Pack
The English Paper Piecing component of the quilt uses 1/2″ Hexagons, 3/8″ Hexagons, 2″ Coffins, 2″ Pointed Dresdens and 1″ Circle shapes and Arc Segments.
The EPP Pack contains all the papers and acrylic templates required to complete the quilt.
